favorite wedding details of 2012

We all know how brides-to-be love to look for ideas to inspire their own. With that in mind, here is a selection of photos from the weddings I photographed in 2012, focusing on various details of the wedding day.

An intimate gesture, as the couple held hands during the ride in the horse-drawn carriage. The wedding took place in Central Park, and was just the bride and groom, the officiant and myself as photographer and witness.

The combination of the dress in the background, and the sun streaming through the window, just begged for the shoes to be displayed there on this table of Middle Eastern origin. I also liked how the purple shade of the curtains reflected in the shaded part of the shoes.

Trying to find a way to incorporate the shoes and dress in a single shot, I noticed how the dress in the window reflected in the shiny surface of the coffee table. Then it just needed some careful arrangement of the elements in the photograph’s composition.
