Stacey & Michael – wedding – Merri-makers at Water’s Edge, Seabright, NJ

It’s always a huge compliment when another photographer asks me to photograph his wedding. Even better when the couple is genuinely nice and endearing. Stacey and Michael had their wedding at Merri-makers At Water’s Edge, with the ceremony out on the beach front area. The one exciting challenge here was to get a group shot of all the guests right at the end of the ceremony, with me precariously balancing on a ladder, steadied by my assistant. After the wedding was over, we spent some more time on the beach for some portraits of just the two of them.

During a day filled with many emotional moments, it was especially touching when Stacey and Michael called me forward during the speeches and invited me into the family with a big hug. Stacey and Michael, congratulations, and best wishes for your future together. I’m honored to have been part of your day and be counted as one of your friends.
