Nuritza & James – wedding – Lake Valhalla Club, NJ

It was important for Nuritza and James to use the beautiful surroundings of Lake Valhalla Club for their portraits. With their wedding day the weekend after daylight savings ended, it was a bit of a race against time to get to the venue quickly before the sun set and the light faded. And we did it! We got some beautiful photographs with the lake as a backdrop and even managed to have Nuritza and James out on the lake in a boat. Nuritza mentions this in her review on wedding wire, that we kept to the tight schedule. And we still had fun with the photography session.

Now, before I make it sound like it was all about the photography – I know, I have a bias there! – their wedding day was obviously about the love between them. The ceremony was Orthodox Christian, rich in tradition and ritual. For me the highlight of the day though, was when the maid of honor, Francine, hilariously presented her toast in Rap style. Nuritza and James, best wishes for your future together!
