Grace & Joseph – wedding – The Gramercy, NJ
The opening photos show some of the massive snow storm we had to contend with on the day. This caused some huge delays to the wedding schedule, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Grace and Joseph were intent on making this their day, with the same energy they had with their engagement photo session in New York. Their wedding day started with their preparation in a hotel in Red Bank, and from there we all went to Monmouth University. The magnificent staircase of the Woodrow Wilson Hall was the perfect setting for the First Look, and then the expansive interior of the mansion for the bridal party and romantic portraits of the couple. From there we went to the Gramercy for the ceremony and reception.
Grace and Joseph are wedding photographers themselves, so they also knew just how to work with the camera. Grace and Joseph also clearly adore one another, and that kind of gentle affection that clearly shows in the photograph. In fact, the entire experience of photographing their wedding was fun, and for me, a high note to end of the year as a wedding photographer. Grace and Jospeh, congratulations and best wishes!
