Caisey & John – wedding – Pleasantdale Chateau, NJ

What a day! From the moment during Caisey’s preparation early on in the morning when she read John’s letter, it was an emotion-laden day for everyone. The First Look again had several of her bridesmaids in tears. The parents’ toasts to the bride and groom had everyone wiping away a tear or two. These are just some of the things you notice and realize the bride and groom are truly in love with each other.

The wedding took place entirely on the grounds of the Pleasantdale Chateau – one of the premier wedding reception venues in New Jersey. And it turned out to be a perfect outdoor Fall day for a wedding. Perfect! No other word to describe Caisey and John’s celebration. During the portrait session we had beautiful light, and the grounds of the Pleasantdale Chateau made a gorgeous setting. The ceremony was held outdoors at dusk, with the pond and the evening sky as a beautiful backdrop to the proceedings. We were able to do the romantic portrait session around the venue, and later in the evening we got to explore further.

This was one of those weddings which I, as a wedding photographer, find particularly exhilarating to be a part of. A lovely couple, and everything just coming together beautifully. Caisey and John, thank you for being so wonderful to work with. It was a pleasure.
