NJ business headshots photo session: Matt

I was thrilled when Matt Sweetwood, the owner of the largest Camera Store in New Jersey, asked that I do new business headshots for him. He wanted something fresh and modern, instead of a more traditional look. A more contemporary style for business headshots.

We went for a camera technique which uses very shallow depth-of-field so that only his eyes are really in focus. This helps draw the viewer in to his expression! We also had fun with various expressions just to mix it up a bit.

In the end we settled on a sequence of images with the lighting shown in the top photograph – it has an airy brightness to it, and looks modern.
