Kristy & John …

When we photographed Kristy and John’s engagement portrait session in Manhattan, we nearly rained out - but their enthusiasm carried the afternoon’s shoot.  So when their wedding day started out drizzly I knew that it wouldn’t dampen their spirits, and that they’d take it in stride.  When the weather lifted during the afternoon, we used the opportunity for great portraits of the two of them outside.

The oh-so-cute ringbearer.

During an emotional parent’s dance, John joined Kristy and her mom with a warm hug.

Kristy and John, congratulations.  And thank you for having me as part of your wedding day.

Abbey’s Bat Mitzvah

I recently had the privilege of photographing Abbey’s Bat Mitzvah. It was a real pleasure, because Abbey is one of the most delightful young women I’ve photographed.  Mazel Tov, Abbey!

.
The following images are from Abbey’s Bat Mitvah party which was held at Nyack seaport, NY.
The candle-lighting …

The hectic party …

After the party, when the guests had left, I spent some time with Abbey taking a few more portraits.

And finally, Abbey and her mom, Susan, spending a quiet moment together on the bank of the Hudson River.

Amy & Joe …

I met Amy and Joe at the Sandy Hook beach for their portrait session.  Don’t let the late afternoon sun fool you - it was windy and quite cold.  Despite this, Amy and Joe never hesitated to jump into the surf and play so we could get great photographs.

Amy and Joe, thank you for being such good sports.  :)

Nancy & Billy …

Nancy & Billy had a fun and emotion-filled wedding, surrounded by their friends and family, followed by an elegant reception at The Seasons.

Between the ceremony and reception we took full advantage of the beautiful grounds at James McFaul Park for photographs of the couple and the wedding party.

This image was taken by Elisabeth Millay who worked with me as my 2nd photographer.

Nancy & Billy - thank you, I had a great time photographing your wedding.  :)

Heather & Steve …

Heather and Steve’s engagement session took place among the gorgeous autumn leaves at Skylands Manor, (Ringwood, NJ).

This image was taken by Janine, who assisted me on this portrait shoot.

Heather and Steve - the two of you were just fantastic to work with, and I know your New Year’s Eve wedding will be a fun event to photograph!
