Kate & Brian – photo session in Hoboken
Just two weeks away from their wedding, Kate & Brian were finally in town for an engagement photo session. They had moved to D.C., but their wedding will be in New Jersey where their families are. As usual with an engagement photo session, the idea is to give the couple a set of relaxed photos outside of the context of their wedding … but more importantly, it gives us time to go over details of their wedding day. And, an engagement shoot just is fun. Kate & Brian, it was good to catch up … and I’ll see you at your wedding in a few weeks!
Really great pictures as always Neil. How are you modifying the off-camera flash when used. A soft-box like the examples in your book? And are they simple speed-lights or something more powerful? Thanks Neil.

Neil, thank you so very much for all the help you provide. I’d like to know what product (system) you use to color correct your photos, or are the images coming straight out of your camera?
Very nice photo, I’ve always admired your photos because you have a less is more approach in that a simple wall as a background with hearts and a couple with good lighting and you end up with an amazing photo.
I love the scenery in this set as well.
