Tatiana & Brandon – their wedding day – Shadowbrook, NJ

The rain came down heavily on the day, so Tatiana & Brandon’s wedding day took place indoors at the Shadowbrook. Fortunately the Shadowbrook is a large enough venue for the ceremony and reception … and enough nooks and crannies for interesting romantic portraits. Just the kind of thing a wedding photographer is looking for on the day!

It was clear how much Tatiana and Brandon were in love, from their emotional response to each other and how they looked at each other throughout the day. Brandon’s daughter was just a delight as the little flower girl. It was heart-warming to see how she was included in the day’s events and ceremonies. Along with the friendly and energetic guests, it was a memorable day!

Alissa & Nick – their wedding day – Westmount Country Club, NJ

A downpour of rain in the afternoon, right after the ceremony, didn’t seem to affect anyone’s spirits – Allisa and Nick’s wedding day remained vibrant and colorful. So this is one of those times where I should let the images tell the story. (Yup, as their wedding photographer, I am particularly proud of this set of photographs.)  The evening ended with a spectacular reception at the Westmount Country Club.

Elizabeth & Kevin – their wedding day – Crystal Plaza, Livingston, NJ

Another set of set of photographs of a wedding day that I am very proud of. But with a cool couple (even on a blistering hot day) at a great venue, it just had to be. Elizabeth and Kevin, thank you for having me as your wedding photographer. Congratulations and best wishes for your future.

The last wedding that I photographed in 2009 was Jennifer and John’s .. and it ended the year on a high note for me, working with such a wonderful couple.  This is one of those times as a wedding photographer where I am really proud of the images .. so I’ll let them stand on their own here, to tell the story of the day.

The entire day was a joyful celebration, although John does look a touch nervous here, waiting for Jennifer and her dad to walk down the aisle ..

Snow started falling by the time the ceremony ended.  Perfect for a December wedding!

The church ceremony was at the impressive St George’s Orthodox Chutrch in Clifton (NJ),  Mark is of Romanian descent, hence the ceremony was an Orthodox Christian one, with all the beautiful rituals that is part of that.

We had rained out in the afternoon, and had to do all the portraits inside.  But later the evening when we did a few more romantic portraits at the Valley Regency, we were able to slip outside since the rain had cleared.  The lights in the gardens always work as a great backdrop.

As I said, they know how to move on the dancefloor!

The Perinita was one of the traditional dances the guests took part in, inviting different partners into the vibrant dance sequence.

Stacy and Andrew’s wedding was a glamorous event at the Florentine Gardens.  With beautiful gardens and ballroom, this prestigious venue was the perfect backdrop for such a stylish couple.
