Julie & Kenny – photo session – Laurita Winery, NJ

The picturesque grounds of Laurita Winery was the setting for Julie and Kenny’s photo session. Handy as well because this is where their wedding will take place next year, and it was a good opportunity to scout the place for places that would work for photos on the big day. Lindsay & Chris – Central Park, New York – photo session

On the cusp of late-Fall and early-Winter, Central Park was just lovely on the afternoon that I met up with Lindsay and Chris. Chris follows my Tangents blog and it is always a huge compliment when someone who is into photography wants me to photograph their wedding. Chris and Lindsay came up specially from Baltimore for the photo session, so it was great that it all came together – lovely weather, the colors and the location … with a super couple. Ashley and Michael met up with me at the Fairleigh Dickinson campus (NJ). The place had relevance for them since this is where they met as students. So we wandered around looking for scenic spots, with the late afternoon sun adding just that extra touch of romance. Alli & Scott – Central Park, New York – photo session

For their engagement photo session, Scott wanted to go back to exactly the same spot in Central Park where he proposed to Alli. Cute! The funny story behind this is that it wasn’t even the spot he had intended originally. The horse-and-carriage driver didn’t want to stop at the top of Bethesda Fountains for Scott, but instead stopped here, at the Fountain on Cherry Hill. It doesn’t matter in the end though – Alli said yes. And in this fun re-enactment, her answer again was yes.
