Regan and John and I had a great time at their engagment session last week.  They were such an easy couple to work with and their love and energy is apparent in the images we created that day.

Skylands Manor remains one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions.  For Monica and Tim’s session we took advantage of the bright yellow flowers along the walkways.

In anticipation of Lisa and Shaun’s wedding in the Bahamas next weekend, we used the beautiful grounds at Skylands Manor for their engagement portrait session.

The light was just perfect when I photographed Jennifer and David’s engagement session at Skylands Manor this past week.  The late afternoon sun lent a soft warm glow to all the photos.

Since Amy and Nick both work in New York, it was only natural that that is where we’d shoot their engagement sesssion.  From the vibrant colours of the carousel at Bryant Park to the busy streets of Manhattan, the locations complemented Amy & Nick’s energy.

Claire and Ryan opted for a more urban feel to their engagement session, so we met at Liberty State Park to take advantage of the architecture and the views of the city.

Music is a big part of Maria and Alan’s life together, which is why it was only natural for Alan to bring his guitar along for their engagement session at Skylands Manor in Ringwood, NJ.

With destination weddings, the opportunity to use the unique and exotic settings for portraits is too much to pass by.  And for this reason I like to add extended potraits sessions for my couples around their wedding day. 

Dawn and Brian’s wedding in Las Vegas offered the chance for not one, but two, unique locations - the lights of the Las Vegas strip, and the desert beauty of the Red Rock area.

Most people don’t think of water and palm trees when they think of Las Vegas - but rather lights, glamour and glitz.  But Brian and Dawn’s wedding was a more laidback affair held at the beautiful grounds of the the  Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort - a romantic wedding destination.   Around 90 of Brian and Dawn’s family and friends had flown in from around the country for their wedding.

Of course, as a wedding photographer, it is particularly thrilling for me to shoot outside of my usual New Jersey / New York areas, and visit exotic or fun locations such as Las Vegas.

After the party, we all went to this famous landmark, visible to anyone driving down towards the Strip.  Here is everyone - family and friends - who attended Dawn and Brian’s wedding.
