Christine and David’s photo session in Manhattan was huge fun.  No wonder, when working with a couple who had oodles of personality, and had no hesitation in playing for the camera.  Christine and David, I can only imagine that photographing your wedding will be as great a time.

Kristy & Tom – New York photo session

For Kristy and Tom’s engagement photo session, we met up in Manhattan in the late late afternoon.  Perfect time to make use of that golden glow of the setting sun.  Even better to have such an energetic couple …

I just added another option to the albums available for boudoir photo sessions.

With a lovely patterned cover, it has a luxurious feel to it.  Different cover options are available.  The album is 8×8 in size, and come in different thicknesses – it can either take 10 prints or 20 prints.

I’ve been told that I gush over my clients here … but it is difficult not to when a couple is just so wonderful to work with and makes their wedding day (and the photography) just a pleasure.  Merisa and Sam’s wedding took place in January, during one of the slightly warmer spells.  Which meant that we were able to do some of the romantic portraits outdoors.  Even the bridal party was willing to venture out in the rain.

With a bit more of a fashion styling, this next image was taken at the reception venue – the Richfield Regency in Verona, NJ.

An intimate photo-session with Carly Erin -
not quite boudoir, a little more portrait-y … but still sexy and intimate.
I wanted to retain a mood of gentle sensuality to the sequence of images.

We went a little retro with the bird-cage veil at the start of the photo session,
but soon lost that for some sensual portraits …

I had the pleasure recently of photographing Jeannie Dee, a South African TV personality, while she was visiting New York.  The shoot was for the cover of the magazine for the Top Billing television show.

We also had time for some portraits of Jeannie Dee outdoors against the New York skyline.  She was brave enough to venture out in the icy-cold New York winter for the rooftop shoot.

Just recently married, Melissa’s album of her boudoir photo session made a perfect Valentine’s Day present.  The inscription on the cover perfectly encapsulates the meaning of this beautiful album as a gift to her husband.

What a great honour to have clients on The Knot forums vote me as one of the best photographers to work with!  Thank you to all of you who voted for me.  And thank you to all my clients who have made this such a rewarding and fulfilling career.  I look forward to many years still ahead filled with creativity and beauty.

Most of what I do though, centers around the weddings that I photograph. This year again I met and worked with wonderful brides and groom and their families.
