Claire and Ryan decided to do their photos with the bridal party on the beach after the wedding. And how formal can you actually be on the beach? Ryan and Claire and everyone else were just great to work and it was fun running around on the beach getting the photographs we wanted. The weather cooperated and everything came together just beautifully on the day.
With this image above we wanted something more dynamic – as if the wind was blowing Claire’s veil. So with the help of my friend Mark Gardner who worked with me on the day, we’d get some movement in the veil. Mark would flip the veil and rush to get out of shot. But with the wide-angle photos, there just wasn’t enough time for Mark to move completely out of shot, so I had to fiddle the image in Photoshop to get what we actually wanted. Yup, what you see isn’t always what you get.

This next image was taken by Mark Gardner who helped me on the day.

Lovely photos…. Who’s doing the windmill in the last one? The tie obscures.
