Kathleen and Todd’s wedding reception was at the beautiful historic Belvedere Mansion in Staatsburg, NY. The party in the evening was in the tented area next to the mansion, and even though the entire day was blisteringly hot, the party rocked.

Erin and Fred were one of the most easy-going, laid back couples I’ve ever photographed … with one of the rowdiest party crowds at the reception! It was a joy to work with both of them and with their families and friends throughout the day.

From earlier in they day before the portrait session – the First Look, where Erin and Fred met up for the first time on their wedding day.

For this little flowergirl, the moment was too big and her dad had to help with the grand entrance and throw the flower petals for her.
.
The entire wedding day from preparation to ceremony to reception, was held at the Pearl River Hilton, NY.

Elaine and Mairaj’s photo session started at the beach with some romantic portraits, before moving up to something more energetic. Elaine and Mairaj really got into the swing of things by then.
On the way there however, I spotted some interesting graffiti on the side of a building, so after our shoot on the beach we headed back there for something colourful.

Last weekend I was fortunate again to work with a couple as much fun as Lauren and Trey at a venue as beautiful as The English Manor (Ocean Township) … and I know it clearly shows in the photographs of their wedding day.

Nancy and John took a break from their medical studies last weekend to get married! After the ceremony, the reception was held at the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, with a cocktail hour outside in the gardens and then a fabulous party to end the evening.
Nancy and John saw each other before the ceremony and I loved how the sunlight flared in this image.

Following the ceremony, John rang the church bell (with Nancy’s help).
.
Since the reception was held at the Museum of Natural History, it made perfect sense to have dinosaurs on the placecards
.
The cocktail hour outside in the gardens of the Museum was a long relaxed period where friends and family could catch up with each other, with the sound of a Klezmer band in the background.
