Since Amy and Nick both work in New York, it was only natural that that is where we’d shoot their engagement sesssion.  From the vibrant colours of the carousel at Bryant Park to the busy streets of Manhattan, the locations complemented Amy & Nick’s energy. 

Amy and Nick, I had an awesome time wandering the city with you.

    Very nice photos.
    I was wondering about the first picture, the one with the blurry people in the background. What shutter speed did you use and did you use flash?

    Hi there Jimmy …

    Thanks! I already posted details about the carousel photo on my educational blog … and I intend to write a post later this week about the exact image you’re referring to, to explain how I went about to photograph it.

    (As a quick reference - I shot entire sequences at 1/10th and at 1/20th of a second, using a stabilised lens. No flash.)
