Dawn & Brian - Las Vegas portraits

With destination weddings, the opportunity to use the unique and exotic settings for portraits is too much to pass by.  And for this reason I like to add extended potraits sessions for my couples around their wedding day.

Dawn and Brian’s wedding in Las Vegas offered the chance for not one, but two, unique locations - the lights of the Las Vegas strip, and the desert beauty of the Red Rock area.

Gosh, these Vegas wedding and couple images are exciting! I think how the photographer feels when he’s in a different environment can come through in his pictures. He’s excited by the new visual stimulus, and his pictures show it.

Interesting. I’ve realized a possibly related phenomena when someone comes into Austin to visit us. We show them this, and show them that, and I tend to see things through fresh eyes. It makes me think that I should be taking pictures.

Now, to harness that into my regular spots for portrait shoots.

Really nice shots, by the way, Neil.
