During the portrait session of Simone and Damian’s wedding, we had perfect evening light, lending a soft glow. In the first image, the golden specks behind the couple are from the spray blowing by from a nearby fountain.
And when the light is this good, and you have a couple that is easy to work with, it is difficult not to get a little excited about the images and share them. (This photo was taken by Carlos Varela who photographed the wedding with me.)

The wedding was quite unusual in a number of ways. The theme was ‘Dragons and Fairies’, and the bridal party were dressed with flair in clothes with an Oriental style.

Later in the evening, during the outdoor ceremony …

The centerpieces at the guests tables had figurines of fairies and dragons.

And finally, the party!

Simone and Damian, best wishes and a thank you – I had a blast photographing your wedding.
Neil, these are beautiful. I love them all. I can see and feel the emotions of the day.

These are exceptional, Neil. And I get so excited sometimes, too, that I just have to show my subjects how great they look in a capture.

I just love visiting your site and telling all about it. I’m learning photographing and find that weddings is my thing. It is hard work, however, you made me realise that there is fun in doing this! Thank you for your inspiring website. I LOVE IT!
