One of the sweetest moments during the wedding day was when Joe danced with his baby daughter in quite an exceptional father-daughter dance. And the next image is of Gena and friends watching Joe dancing with their daughter.

I love your work, and would really like to learn your style of wedding photography. I asked you a lighting question about a year ago. If I may..are you using flash in the 2nd, 3rd and 5th images? You have done an awesome job of balancing the flash with amibent. I read and re-read your flash pages and still do not get this result. I am using a Canon 20D with a 580EX on camera.

Thank you for the kind comments.
The 2nd and 3rd images (the two images in the church) were without flash.
For them I used the new Canon 1D mk3 at 3200 iso. Amazing image quality.
The other images all had flash. For this wedding reception, I gelled my flash to match the tungsten lighting. Therefore you don’t see the usual kind of grungy orange in the background. E-mail me if you want the webpage where I have the specific info up.
