Colette & Chris

Rockleigh Country Club wedding

Colette and Chris’ wedding ceremony and reception was held at the Rockleigh Country Club.  The venue was just perfect for a wedding day where friends and family could meet up again .. and the atmosphere the entire day was relaxed and convivial.

From earlier the day during Colette’s prep:
This was a first for me … the ring-bearer getting into the act, helping the bride getting her shoes on.

.
I love how clearly Chris’ anticipation showed here during the First Look …

 .
A very determined little flowergirl, going it on her own .. for a short while ..

.
Chris and Colette doing a quick rehearsal of their first dance, before guests enter the ballroom ..

.
The lighting effects in this ballroom made life so much easier for me as a wedding photographer .. everything was bathed in deep colour from the lights, giving a wonderful backdrop to the reception and party ..

Colette and Chris .. congrats!  And a thank you .. I had a great time at your wedding.

As Always Neil your style of lighting is always on the money. What type of lighting was used indoors such as in the reception hall? Also how were you able to keep that blue lighting on the wall without the flash messing it up. Again Neil excellent work.

Thank you for the compliment! The indoor lighting was the existing up-lighting at the venue. All I had to do was use some bounce flash in the usual way as described in numerous articles on the Tangents site.
