Caitlynn – highschool snr shoot

April 3, 2006

I photographed Caitlynn’s sister, Christine’s wedding in October last year – at which Caitlynn was the maid of honour.  But it was quite by chance that I bumped into them again in January – and in catching up with news, we also talked about doing a photo shoot with Caitlynn as soon as the weather allowed. But this being New Jersey in winter time, the weather only relented slightly the past weekend – nearly three months later.

Caitlynn and I did an extended photo shoot on Sunday, with my daughter Janine helping out with a light reflector.  Christine travelled with, soaking up the sun wherever we stopped to shoot.

Caitlynn turned out to be a delight to work with, as the photographs showed.  This is one of the very last images we took, using the fading light of day …

These railway shots are stunning. I love the lighting and how the young lady stands out from the background and ambient light without overpowering. She is very lucky to have her photos taken by such a talented photographer. Thanks for sharing this. You are an inspiration.
